The Mermaid :

The Mermaid was made in collaboration with writer/artist Sally O’Reilly and performed at Cabaret Melancholique in November and December 2005.
In the 1980s women’s magazines advised taking ‘the pencil test’ – a way for us to see if our breasts were saggy. In this version of this test we used household objects such as a draining board, doormat, jugs and a clothes-basket to explore this phenomenon further.
